How the six line bet works
A six line covers two adjacent streets - 6 consecutive numbers. Example: 13-18 covers row 13-14-15 and row 16-17-18.
Payout: 5:1. Hit probability: European 6/37 = 16.22%, American 6/38 = 15.79%.
Why it is the gentlest inside bet
Six line has the highest hit rate among inside bets. Variance is much lower than straight-up. The bankroll graph looks closer to an outside bet than to a single-number bet.
Used by James Bond as the 13-18 component.
Flat six-line testing
$10 flat on six line 13-18 for 200 spins on European: expected ~32 wins paying $50 profit each, ~168 losses costing $10 each. Expected net: 32 × 50 − 168 × 10 = $1,600 − $1,680 = −$80. Equivalent to ~$54 over fewer spins.
Drawdowns are tame, around $50-$150. Bust risk on $1,000 bankroll is near zero.
