About Kim Birch
Kim Birch is the math and strategy reviewer for RouletteStrategyTest.com. The site exists to test how roulette systems behave - not to claim that any system beats the house edge - and Kim's role is to keep the math honest.
Role on the site
Kim reviews every published strategy guide, every payout assumption and every bankroll calculation. The reviewer's job is to make sure that what the tester computes matches what a real casino would pay, and that the strategy descriptions reflect how the systems were actually published - not casino-friendly rewrites.
What is reviewed for accuracy
- Roulette payouts on every supported bet type (35:1, 17:1, 11:1, 8:1, 5:1, 2:1, 1:1).
- Wheel layout and pocket distribution for European (37 pockets) and American (38 pockets).
- Strategy progression rules (Martingale doubles after loss; Fibonacci moves forward on loss and back two on win; etc.).
- Bankroll, drawdown and bust handling.
- House edge math (2.70% European, 5.26% American, 1.35% even-money with La Partage).
Editorial position
The site does not publish 'guaranteed win' claims and does not present short test sessions as proof a system works. Where a popular system has known failure modes (Martingale and long losing streaks, for example), those failure modes are described directly, with worked examples.
If a published article on this site contains a factual error, it gets corrected. See Editorial Policy.
