Masaniello is a step-based progression system that targets a specific number of wins within a fixed number of spins. Complex bookkeeping, same long-run math.
How Masaniello works
You set: total spins (N), target wins (W), starting bankroll. Each spin's bet is calculated to bring you exactly to break-even-plus-profit if the remaining target is met.
If you need 5 wins in 10 spins and have hit 2 wins in 4 spins, you need 3 more wins in 6 spins. The bet size adjusts based on this ratio.
Famous for being mathematically complex; sometimes published with spreadsheets to calculate per-spin stakes.
Bankroll implications
Masaniello can require very large bets when behind target. If 9 of 10 needed wins must come in the last 5 spins, stakes balloon.
Bankroll requirement scales with target ratio. Aggressive targets (high W/N ratio) demand large bankrolls.
Testing under variance
Masaniello sessions either complete (W wins in N spins, hitting the profit target) or fail catastrophically.
Bust rate depends on target. W=6, N=10 on a 1:1 bet (50% hit needed vs 48.65% actual) busts ~40% of sessions on European.
Long-run math
Same as every system. Average ROI converges to negative house edge. Variance is concentrated in the dramatic complete-vs-bust distribution.
